Healing restores a hero's replenishable hit points. Healing is done by Health Packs, the spawn room, the payload (for the attacking team), and hero abilities. Although many heroes have healing abilities, Support heroes have a focus on healing. Generally, the act of healing generates ultimate charge (healing allies' self damage or environmental damage will not grant ultimate charge).
Talon of Furious Concentration is better IMO. +21 dmg and +1% crit. For a mage who is kitted in full netherwind, the 1% crit is equal to 10 dmg or more making the talon actually have higher dps than the orb. And the talon can be gotten from a simple boss in aq20. Oct 27, 2020 This specialised artillery build provides superior ranged damage. Key Arcane Orb-related Talents allow you to threaten Heroes while safely remaining out of their range. This build is notably effective against team compositions that lack mobility, and on the Infernal Shrines Battleground.
When receiving healing, hit points are restored in the following order: Health, then Armor, then Shields.
Ally Healing[edit | edit source]
The following heroes can heal allies.
- Ana's
Biotic Rifle can heal an ally for 70 HP.
Biotic Grenade also heals all allies for 100 HP and boosts other sources of healing by 50% with an area effect of 4 meters.
Nano Boost also heals for 250 HP.
- In Deathmatch, Ana can use
Nano Boost on herself.
- Baptiste can heal allies with his
Biotic Launcher's alternate fire for 60 HP per grenade.
Regenerative Burst heals surrounding allies 75 HP over 5 seconds and 150 over 5 seconds for himself.
Immortality Field can heal teammates if their HP is below 20%.
- Brigitte's
Inspire heals herself and all allies within 20 meters for 15 HP per second whenever she attacks. Each of her 3
Repair Packs heal the target ally for 110 HP over 2 seconds. Multiple Repair Packs thrown at the same ally will increase the healing duration by 2 seconds each.
- Lúcio's
Crossfade, when toggled to healing boost, heals allies within 12 meters 16 HP per second, or 52 HP per second during Amp It Up. However, healing boost only heals Lúcio for ~12.3 HP per second, or 40 HP per second during
Amp It Up.
- Moira's
Biotic Grasp can heal an ally for 70 HP per second + 35 HP over 2 seconds after usage.
Biotic Orb (healing) can heal 65 HP per second (max. ~300).
Coalescence can heal 140 HP per second.
- Mercy's
Caduceus Staff can heal an ally for 55 HP per second while they remain within 15 meters and maintains line of sight. Healing is increased to 60 HP per second during her
Valkyrie ultimate.
- Soldier: 76's
Biotic Field heals allies within 5 meters for 40 HP per second.
- Zenyatta's
Orb of Harmony heals the targeted ally for 30 HP per second.
Transcendence heals all allies within 10 meters for 300 HP per second for up to 6 seconds.
Self-Healing[edit | edit source]
The following heroes can heal only themselves or have special self-healing.
- Bastion's
Self-Repair heals him for 90 HP per second while held.
- Mei's
[[File:Lua error in Module:Show at line 31: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value).|middle|link=Lua error in Module:Show at line 31: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value).#Cryo-Freeze|22px]] [[Lua error in Module:Show at line 31: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value).#Cryo-Freeze|Cryo-Freeze]] heals her for ~38.46 HP per second for its duration.
- Mercy's
Regeneration passively heals her for 20 HP per second after avoiding damage for 1 second. Mercy gains no Ultimate Charge for this self-healing.
- Moira's
Biotic Grasp (secondary fire) grants self healing of 20 HP per second while dealing damage to enemy heroes. Moira's
Coalescence grants self healing of 50 hit points per second, regardless of if it is healing any allies or damaging any enemies.
- Reaper's
The Reaping heals for 30% of damage dealt. Reaper gains no Ultimate Charge for this self-healing.
- Roadhog's
Take a Breather heals him for 300 HP over 1 second.
- Tracer's
Recall heals any damage taken in the last 3 seconds (although this doesn't count towards her Healing Dealt statistic, but rather to a unique Health Recalled statistic).
Other Healing[edit | edit source]
- Small health packs heal 75 HP (respawning after 10 seconds).
- Large health packs heal 250 HP (respawning after 15 seconds).
- Shield health regenerates at 30 shields per second, after not being damaged for 3 seconds. This healing does not count towards the Healing Dealt statistic of any hero. It is the only instance in which healing is dealt outside of the usual order listed above.
- Sombra's
Hack and
EMP cause Health Packs to respawn 4x faster (healing caused by Hacked Health Packs counts towards Sombra's Healing Dealt statistic, although it doesn't provide Ultimate Charge).
- On Escort and Hybrid, the payload heals heroes on the attacking team for 10 HP per second while they are within 5 meters (the same distance necessary to move the payload forward).
- The heroes inside of their spawn room will be healed for 400 HP per second (the most healing from a single source).
- Genji's
Deflect can turn enemies' healing projectiles into ally healing projectiles. For example Moira's healing orbs or Batiste's healing granades.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
Zenyatta | Overwatch Wiki | Fandom
- As a result of a bug, D.Va and Sigma are erroneously credited for a small amount of healing dealt to enemies by healing projectiles they destroy using
Defense Matrix and
Kinetic Grasp, respectively. This can be recreated easiest by destroying Moira's
Biotic Orb (healing).

This character type is built off of one skill only, which is Frozen Orb. I personally like this build because it offers me both PvM and PvP with the gear and stats. It is good for mfing (magic find) since your frozen orb can be used to deal with large groups of enemies. Your only problem with this build is when you have to deal with 'Cold Immunes'. But don't worry, because if you have a good Act 2 Mercenary, he can usually take care of everything.
Skills
Frozen Orb: This is how your sorceress will get her name, so max it.
Ice Bolt: The only skill that gives Frozen Orb extra damage. Max this one as well.
Cold Mastery: When you start to PvP and PvM, it might seem that no matter how big your damage is, you can't even lower their life a speck. This skill will take care of that for you. Max this.
All Ice Armors: Put 1 in all of these.
Teleport: A must for PvP and even for normal traveling. Put 1 in this skill.
Static Field: When you are trapped in a corner by Cold Immune monsters, this skill will be your life saver to make life easier for your mercenary. Put 1 in this skill.
Energy Shield: This is your main form of defense when youre teleporting around the dueling field and when Mfing. Put the rest of your skills in here.
Stats
Strength: Just enough to wear gear. You should already have your gear before you start this build.
Dexterity: Just enough to have a decent block. But don't fuss too much about it.
Vitality: Put a lot into this one.
Energy: Many people would say that you shouldn't put anytihng into this one, but I beg to differ. Since Energy Shield will be your main form of defense, have a little bit less points than your vitality.
Gear
Helm: Harlequin Crest Shako (Or however you spell it): A must because of your plus 2 to all skills and the Mf. Socket this with a Rainbow Facet which casts Blizzard when you die.
Armor: Chains of Honor Runeword. Pretty much god himself for sorceresses.
Gloves: Magefist. I use these because of the faster cast rate.
Rings: Ravenfrost and a Stone of Jordan.
Amulet: A plus 3 to cold skills ammy.
Weapons 1: Heart of the Oak Runeword. Or if youre poor, an Occy.
Shield 1: This one is debatable, but I prefer a simple spirit because of the cheapness and effectiveness.
Weapons 2: Call to Arms Runeword. Self explanatory.
Shield 2: Spirit again.
Boots: War Traveler. Mf and Enchanced Defense.
Belt: Arach. PLus 1 to all skills belt? Obviously.
Inventory: Life Small Charms and Cold Grand Charms. Have room for a torch and an anni.
MERCENARY GEAR:
Weapon: Infinity Runeword or Insight (depending on whether you want more damage or faster mf)
Armor: Fortitude Runeword.
Helm: Andys here for strength bonus and aura bonus.
PvP Strategies:
What you really want here is to hit and run. Teleport around like shit and then orb at people.
PvM Strategies:
Just make sure your mercenary is always in front of you. Stay back and orb. If they're cold immune, Static Field them to shit.
Okay, that's my build. WOOOOOO!
